Softscape, Inc. Creates Performance Management System for Cambria Consulting, Nation's Authority on Leadership and Competency Development.


WAYLAND, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 1999--

Softscape's three phase implementation of a 360 MultiSource Feedback and Survey Management System, designed for Cambria Consulting of Boston, was released this week. The system will allow Cambria, a nationally recognized authority on Leadership Competencies and Survey Development, to license Softscape's performance management solution AchievementPlus(TM) for multiple clients. The two companies initially partnered when Cambria was called in by PPG Industries to identify compentencies and success factors in high achievers.  Performance & Learning Process was rolled out for 6,500 professional employees last fall and phase two will make it available to another 10,000 by late summer.

The challenge presented to Softscape

Cambria's goal in using the system is to identify an opportunity to enable client companies to become involved in automatic relationship building in which "everyone rates everyone." Additionally, Cambria wanted a system with the ability to rate multiple people on the same survey at one time, which is part of the Softscape component mix.

In effect, Cambria will act as a two-fold service bureau in which both single and multiple page surveys can be developed and run in-house with email notification and reminders to participants, and offer clients 360 multi-rater feedback for performance appraisals.

Softscape is a leader in performance management solutions using AchievementPlus(TM) components that can stand-alone or be incorporated into a total Human Resource Central Activity Center. The application is based on technology called Lightyear(TM) -- light-years ahead of any Internet-based system available today.
