 ) Softrock Petroleums announces that along with Cariad Exploration and Epic Resources of Vancouver that they have negotiated a farm-out option to Aladdin Middle East Ltd. on their 123,680 ac Permit #3217 in South Turkey near the Syrian border.

Softrock has a ten percent working interest, Epic is operator.

Aladdin intends to reopen the Seyda - 101A 7300 meter test abandoned on the permit in 1982 to test an untested Triassic dolomite dolomite (dō`ləmīt', dŏl`ə–).

 and a number of Palaeozoic sandstones, some of these produced in a recent Turkish Petroleum discovery (Yanankoy) 45 miles to the west.

Depending on the option, Softrock will be carried for a working interest percentage of between one and three percent.

Aladdin, which has eight drilling rigs in Turkey and over 200 employees, expects to reopen the well after further surveys this summer. -0- EDITOR'S NOTE Editor's Note (foaled in 1993 in Kentucky) is an American thoroughbred Stallion racehorse.
