SoftTree Technologies Announces Availability of Index Analyzer PRO for Oracle Databases.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 1998--SoftTree Technologies, Inc. announced today the general availability of a unique utility that provides statistics and advanced analysis for Oracle database indexes.

Index Analyzer PRO enables Oracle DBAs and developers to gather a wide variety of index statistics and successfully tune homegrown home·grown

Index Analyzer PRO supports both interactive and command line interfaces and is capable of analyzing multiple indexes in one batch. It includes the intelligent Expert module that automatically generates tuning recommendations.

Support and Availability

Index Analyzer PRO supports all Oracle versions on any platform starting with Oracle v7.1. The product is available for MS Windows 95 and MS Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking. . Pricing starts at $250.
