Chemtrade Logistics, Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Safe Handling Solutions, Inc. have announced an agreement whereby Chemtrade will provide a regional source of cost effective sodium hydrosulfite for customers in the northeastern United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. . Chemtrade will build a dissolving facility in Safe Handling's manufacturing complex in Auburn, Maine to liquefy liquefy /liq·ue·fy/ (lik´wi-fi) to become or cause to become liquid. sodium hydrosulfite, called V-Britea. Production is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2005.
