Joan McGlockton, Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Sodexho Marriott Services Inc., was a recipient of the Woman of Distinction award on June 1, 2000. ) at the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders, recognizes women who have distinguished themselves in their professional careers and/or in their communities.

Ms. McGlockton is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Sodexho Marriott Services' Foundation To Stop Hunger. The Foundation is devoted to fighting hunger for an estimated 34 million people in America who go hungry every day, most of them children or elderly. She also serves as the Secretary of the Company's Legal and Ethical Compliance Committee. Prior to her current activities, she was Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the lodging company, Marriott International Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) is a worldwide operator and franchisor of a range of value and luxury hotels and related lodging facilities.
