BACH'S Magnificat is the centrepiece of Holmfirth Choral cho·ral  
adj.

2. Performed or written for performance by a chorus.

 Society's next concert at Holmfirth Civic Hall. The rest of the programme will include seasonal music by Berlioz, Rutter and others.

The soloists are Sarah Ogden, Debra Ogden, Jenni Wohlan, Roy Hirst and Thom Meredith.

The Valley Sinfonia sin·fo·ni·a

1. An instrumental composition serving as an overture, as to an opera or cantata, especially in the 18th century.

2. A symphonic composition.
, led by Mary Rafferty, will take part in the concert on December 13 at 7.15pm. Kenneth Rothery will conduct.
