Social conservatives harassed.

Ottawa, ON -- The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC) has expressed concern that some of the principles to which they are committed were portrayed by the media as "extreme" during the recent federal election. Former Liberal MP Pat O'Brien, who left his party because of its stand in favour of homosexual "marriage," has been appointed Executive Director of V o t e Marriage Canada (VMC). In an interview with LifeSiteNews on January 26, O'Brien explained that VMC has launched phase two of its campaign to defend traditional marriage. During the election they encouraged voters to support pro-marriage candidates and now the group will encourage MPs to revisit the legislation and vote to restore the definition of traditional marriage.
