The event was a success, so now management at the station plans to host two soccer tournaments per year, during Cinco de Mayo and Mexican Independence Day, which falls on Saturday.

This weekend's tournament includes 24 teams from all over Oregon. They are ready to compete for the $2,000 grand prize, with runners-up also receiving cash prizes.

The event will feature musical entertainment Saturday with Latin bands LaF, Com- plices, Los Canarios and Los Crystalerios. It's free to watch the soccer tournament, but after 8 p.m. admission is $15, with children younger than 12 admitted free.

On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, there will be free family-friendly entertainment in the parking lot of the Regional Sports Center, including a bouncy castle Bouncy Castle
