SoFIE Awards Announces Extended Deadline for Entries.

 Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA SFIMA South Florida Internet Marketing Association ) announced today that it has extended the deadline for applications through March 2nd, 2007 for entries into the Second Annual Silverpop South Florida Interactive Excellence (SoFIE) Awards. The awards competition entitles contestants to participate in the most innovative and prestigious marketing awards ceremony in South Florida: the Second Annual Silverpop South Florida Interactive Excellence (SoFIE) Awards.

The SoFIE Awards will recognize the finest, cutting-edge interactive marketing campaigns in the region at an awards gala to be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Diplomat Country Club and Resort in Hallandale Beach, Florida Hallandale Beach is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. The city is named after Luther Halland, a worker for Henry Flagler's Florida East Coast Railroad. As of 1 July 2006, the population estimated by the U.S. Census Bureau is 37,145. . The evening's theme is "Beyond your imagination". Previous participants' projects have included web site design, banners, email and a variety of online media. The objective of the SoFIE Awards is to encourage creative, innovative, and measurable interactive marketing programs by sharing industry best practices with others in the Florida business community. In doing so, the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA - www.sfima.com) strives to improve the collective knowledge and success of interactive marketing practitioners in Florida.
