LOS CABOS, Mexico -- Snell Real Estate announces its annual sponsorship of the world's richest fishing tournament, held in the crystal waters of Los Cabos. Cabo San Lucas has long been considered a playground for the jet-setting elite, and the annual Bisbee's Black and Blue Marlin Tournament, held October 24 - 28, is the main event. Bisbee's has been a fixture in the Baja Peninsula for a quarter of a century, attracting high-stakes fishermen from around the world. This fishing trip is more than an excuse to relax on a boat and brag about "the one that got away"; state-of-the-art fishing boats will be loaded with competitors hoping to reel in a share of the estimated $4 million in prize money. It is even rumored that one gentleman will be casting a platinum, gold and jewel encrusted lure worth $1 million.

Snell Real Estate began sponsoring the Bisbee's in 2000, becoming title sponsor of the fishing tournament in 2004. Additionally, the increased tourism activities the tournament brings provide millions of dollars of revenue to the area. This year, Bagwell and Snell will be together again with high hopes. The team has yet to reel in any prize money, but Snell and Bagwell have been close and feel their luck is about to change.
