Sneak peak into fully Feng-Shui inspired building.

Tarragon Corporation announced that the onsite sales and design center for Edgewater, NJ's first new-construction high-rise condominium, One Hudson Park, has opened at 193 River Road.

Sales have begun at the completely Feng-Shui inspired, 168-residence glass and brick tower, scheduled for completion in the fall of 2006.

One Hudson Park is the first Manhattan-style building to rise in Edgewater, it will command breathtaking, panoramic views of the Hudson River, Manhattan skyline and George Washington Bridge. The dramatic, two-story lobby and carefully positioned grand staircase are designed to enhance energy flow. Stark aligned the ponds and waterways of the park to be visible from the entrance, in order to promote financial security for residents.

The decor will include imaginatively displayed natural images, such as illuminated stone-clad columns, wood-framed architectural highlights and "marble carpets" of stone resembling sand.

With a 24-hour doorman/concierge, One Hudson Park will provide security, service and tranquility. Tarragon will be donating a new park adjacent to the building to the Edgewater community.

Monthly as part of our Maintenance program. Four readings are taken during a combustion efficiency test;

1. Draft, which measures the pull from the chimney. Less pull equals better fuel efficiency.

2. Smoke, which includes a visual inspection of how much soot is being produced by burning the fuel. The less soot the better.

3. CO2, where carbon dioxide is measured to see how well the fuel and air are mixing during the combustion process. A high CO2 reading is an indication of complete and efficient combustion.

4. Stack temperature, which includes a reading of the exhaust gases that are leaving the boiler.

Ideally, you would like these temperatures to be no more than 100 degrees hotter than the boiler water or steam.

We have shown that fuel savings of 5-15% can be realized simply by adjusting the burner fire with instruments, as opposed to setting the fire by eye. For maximum fuel savings, we inspect and take combustion efficiency readings with Digital Test equipment. Today's instruments are very accurate and give a print out of the actual efficiency readings, we keep this information in our database for comparison month to month.
