Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  loves photos of movie stars almost as much as it loves the stars themselves.

The Hollywood Entertainment Museum wants to satisfy fans' hunger with a photography exhibit featuring classic movie stars of the '30s and '40s. The collection includes 35 images, many of them original, vintage prints In photography, a vintage print is the first print that the photographer makes immediately after developing a negative.

Vintage prints are considered the original piece of art, as it is possible to arbitrarily obtain many copies from the same negative.

"Some of these photos are extremely rare because they're originals," said Chris Horak, the museum's curator. "Seeing an original is much different than seeing it on the Intemet. The quality is just amazing a·maze

The photos, on view through Jan. 20, "sent a message to the public how glamorous and stylish (the actors) were and personified the whole image of celebrity," said Anne-Marie Gregg, gallery coordinator at Apex Fine Arts in Los Angeles.
