MENCAP MENCAP Mental Handicap is calling for budding photographers to get involved in Snap!
2008, its sixth annual photo and story competition.
The learning disability charity is looking for entries from people with a learning disability of all ages, and their friends and families.
There are 36 fantastic digital cameras from Fuji film to be won and the winners' photos will be on display at a prestigious London museum The London Museum was inaugurated on March 21, 1912 by King George V with Queen Mary and Princess Mary and Prince George at Kensington Palace. It opened for public visitation on April 8, admitting more than 13.000 visitors during the day. this summer.
Dame Jo Williams, the charity's chief executive, said: "The competition is a fantastic way to open people's eyes to a world they may not know much about and to showcase the talents of people with a learning disability."
There are six categories and the closing date is March 1.
Every entry must be accompanied by a short descriptive story that expresses happiness, sadness or depicts what makes people proud or excited.
