Smiths Display System Selected for KT-1 Trainer.

SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 2004

Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) have selected the Smiths Aerospace integrated standby instrument system (ISIS) for the KT-1 Turbo Prop Trainer. Production deliveries are scheduled to commence in 2004 and KAI are now focusing the KT-1 at the export market. ISIS is developed at the Smiths facility in Cheltenham, England. Smiths also has a significant avionics footprint on the T-50 supersonic jet trainer and is proud to be a key supplier to KAI.
