KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Oregon coach Bev Smith was among six people inducted Saturday night into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame honors men and women who have contributed to the sport of women's basketball. The Hall of Fame opened in 1999 in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. .

Oregon Reign win four

to reach semifinals

VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Oregon Reign 18A softball team won all four of their games in the first day of the Vancouver Invitational on Saturday to reach today's semifinals.

The Eugene-area team defeated the Seattle Diamond Dusters 10-1, the Vancouver (Wash.) Aphis 5-1, the Tualatin Twins 7-0 and the Vancouver (Wash.) Glacier Gold 2-0.

North wins first game
