SmartVideo Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: SMVD.OB) today announced that it has been accepted into Microsoft Corp.'s (NASDAQ: MSFT) Windows Media(R) 9 Series Certified Hosting Provider Program. Only those companies that have proven their technical expertise and ability to deliver the best and most reliable Internet streaming solutions using the features of Microsoft Windows Media 9 Series, and have passed an independent third-party validation by Keynote, are accepted into the program. Being a Microsoft Certified Hosting Provider places SmartVideo among an elite group of companies world-wide to receive this distinction.

The testing is designed to ensure that hosting providers not only offer thorough end-to-end support for Windows Media 9 Series, but also maintain a rigorous quality of service for the responsive and reliable delivery of Windows Media Audio and Video 9 Series streams.
