SmartDisk Announces Inclusion in Russell 3000 Index.

NAPLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 2000

SmartDisk Corporation (Nasdaq:SMDK), a company whose products simplify the digital lifestyle, today announced that its common stock has been added to the Russell(R) 3000 Equity Index, a leading investment ranking of U.S. stocks compiled by the Frank Russell Company.
