Small shuttle unit makes quick changes.

The newest and smallest F-type shuttle extrusion blow machine from Uniloy Milacron, Manchester, Mich., is designed to meet the growing trend toward flexible, short-run operations. Model BW F4 can have one or two stations, each molding one to four parisons into bottles from 0.2 to 1.5 liter liter, abbr. l, unit of volume in the metric system, defined since 1964 as equal to 0.001 cubic meters, or 1 cubic decimeter. A cube that has each of its edges equal to 10 centimeters has a volume of 1 liter. The liter is equal to 1.057 liquid quarts, 0. . Its tiebarless design speeds and simplifies mold changeovers. The horizontal shuttle system runs on guide rails with a rack-and-pinion synchronizer to ensure consistent platen A long, thin cylinder in a typewriter or printer that guides the paper through it and serves as a backstop for the printing mechanism to bang into. It is typically made of a hard rubber or rubber-like material. See carriage and typewriter.  parallelism An overlapping of processing, input/output (I/O) or both.

1. parallelism - parallel processing.
2. (parallel) parallelism - The maximum number of independent subtasks in a given task at a given point in its execution. E.g.
