The top award was presented in August at the ACCE's annual convention in St. Louis. The Chamber's entry, in the "Special Events" category, had previously been chosen to receive one of six ACE Grand Awards. Roya Speights and Brenda Harvill of the Chamber's membership sales team also won Lifetime Achievement Awards at this year's ACCE convention for combined sales of more than $1.5 million during their tenure with the Chamber. This year's competition drew 250 entries from more than 100 chambers of commerce throughout the world. Entries were critiqued by more than 40 judges from diverse professional backgrounds.
