in establishing and maintaining drug free workplaces.

The project known as America 2001 - the Drug Free Workplace Initiative, will continue providing a comprehensive approach to combating drugs in the workplace. Services available at no cost to businesses employing less than 500 employees include a customized drug free work place policy, supporting documents and step-by-step instructions to develop and implement a drug free workplace. Drug testing services, supervisor training and employee education may also be provided at little or no cost to the employer.

"We have established a building block approach in assisting small businesses with the implementation of their drug free workplace," said America 2001 program manager, Stephanie Frank. "Many businesses know they need a `no use' drug policy in their workplace but cannot afford a risk management department to set-up and run one. That's where we come in."
