The FLI8532 and FLI8125 were designed to provide a high-quality dual channel solution for Picture-in-Picture applications. The FLI8532 (Cortez) is a highly integrated, single-chip television solution for flat-panel televisions. It features Faroudja's Emmy award-winning, advanced video decoding, directional correlational deinterlacing (DCDi) and video enhancement technologies, whose inclusion is represented by the Faroudja DCDi Cinema(TM) brand. An integrated, multi-standard 3-D video decoder provides support for NTSC (National TV Standards Committee) The committee that developed the television standards for the U.S, which are also used in Canada, Japan, South Korea and several Central and South American countries. Both the committee and the standard are called "NTSC. , PAL and SECAM (SEquential Couleur Avec Memoire, Sequential Color with Memory) A color TV standard from France that was officially introduced in 1967.
