Skamp International Ltd, which is responsible for the sales and distribution of the Skynet / Skamp In-vehicle communications, security and tracking products across seventeen countries of Central and Eastern Europe announce two new partners from the construction vehicle industry.

Phoenix-Zeppelin Spol sro, the distributor in Slovakia for Caterpillar construction vehicles has placed an order for installation of Skamp systems on their rental fleet to prevent theft of these expensive vehicles. An extra very attractive benefit for the customer from the Skamp system is fleet management and asset efficiency, providing potential cost savings to the operator. Caterpillar Inc, a US based global company, is the world's largest manufacturer of construction equipment with reported sales and revenues in 1999 of US$ 19.7 billion.

Willing Industry a.s. A Slovak manufacturer of Skid Steer Loaders is to offer the Skamp Telematic system as a factory fitted option on their latest vehicle, the Locust 752. This will provide theft protection as well as the ability to monitor vehicle parameters, e.g. service interval warnings, overload and abusive use. Willing Industry expect to produce more than 4000 Locust loaders in the first year of manufacture and see the Skamp system as a valuable option in securing increased market share.
