Skylight Healthcare Adds Several Prestigious New Hospitals to Its Growing Partner List.

These new hospital contracts secure Skylight's prestigious reputation as the leader in interactive patient system technology.

Skylight's ACCESS Interactive Patient System transforms hospital television sets into multimedia experiences for patients, allowing hospitals to create a much more customer-focused, empowered environment. The System enables a customized hospital room communication, education and entertainment platform designed to greatly enhance patient and staff satisfaction at hospitals. Core product applications specifically facilitate continuous access to key hospital information, health education on demand, automated room comfort service requests, real-time patient surveying and more. A messaging service also allows specific hospital content, such as welcome messages, patient safety videos and informed consent information, to be automatically delivered to patient room televisions. Available digital entertainment provides on demand movies, cable TV, music, Internet, e-mail and games. Integration with dietary and other hospital service providers, as well as optional high-speed Internet See broadband.  portals, are also available.

Aurora's 155 patient rooms will be equipped with this state-of-the-art in-room system. Providence St. Peter Hospital Providence St. Peter Hospital, located at 413 Lilly Rd NE, Olympia, Washington, is Providence Health & Services’s second largest Washington state hospital. St. Peter is a 390-bed, not-for-profit regional teaching hospital founded by the Sisters of Providence in 1887  will install the ACCESS Interactive Patient System in patient rooms at their Olympia, Washington hospital. Providence St. Peter Hospital has been named one of the 100 Top Hospitals in the nation for cardiology, orthopedics and stroke care. Beginning this spring, most of Providence St. Peter Hospital's nearly 400 rooms will be equipped with the interactive bedside system.

Florida-based Health First's three not-for-profit hospitals, Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, and Palm Bay Community Hospital in Palm Bay, will also join the ranks of Skylight Healthcare clients.
