Sky Dome gets on the tourist map; Guides to be given away free.

THOUSANDS of new street maps are to be given away free as part of efforts to promote Coventry Coventry, city, England

 Kent, said: "In the past 12 months, Sky Dome has risen from the ground and is now close to opening, so it was essential that we included it.

"Last year's edition had Spon Street on the back but it is incorporated in the main map this time around.

"There is bound to be a shift in emphasis to that part of the city centre from an entertainment point of view and it will prove something of a magnet for visitors and locals."

The City Centre Company first published the maps highlighting Coventry's attractions last year and was delighted by the response. This year's full-colour guide, sponsored by local companies, will be available throughout the year from the City Centre Company, tourist information tourist information - Information in an on-line display that is not immediately useful, but contributes to a viewer's gestalt of what's going on with the software or hardware behind it.  offices and libraries.
