Skills code wins award.

EIGHT organisations have been rewarded for introducing a new system which aims improve the skills of the workforce.

Manager of Northumberland Workforce Development, Lorraine Pattison and workforce development co-ordinator, Jenienne Hinchcliffe, have implemented a Code of Practice for all training providers delivering qualifications to Northumberland's Early Years practitioners.

The Code of Practice is intended to improve the quality, delivery, standards and retention of workers to improve the skills of the workforce.
