Skanska starts construction at $44M CT hospital facility.


Skanska USA Building Inc. has started construction on Danbury Hospital's new Outpatient Diagnostic Building in Danbury, Connecticut.

The total project is valued at $44 million.

Skanska is providing construction management services for this new 60,000 s/f, three-story building as well as a new 366-space parking garage.

The Outpatient Diagnostic Building will include an endoscopy endoscopy

Examination of the body's interior through an instrument inserted into a natural opening or an incision, usually as an outpatient procedure. Endoscopes include the upper gastrointestinal endoscope (for the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum), the colonoscope (for the
