Skanska celebrates Liberty expansion.


Skanska USA Building Inc. announced that a ceremonial ribbon-cutting took place on July 19, 2007 at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Skanska provided construction management services under a contract with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) is an independent, quasi-governmental self-supporting entity in the U.S. state of New Jersey dedicated to broadening and expanding the state's economic base.  for the $93.9 million expansion to the center.

The project included an addition of 100,000 s/f of new space as well as retrofitting the existing 195,000 s/f.
