Adwood Corp.'s 10-ft by 5-ft vertical panel saw has a self-supporting frame, bolted instead of welded, that gives the machine increased stability and precision with cut tolerances within 0.008 in., according to the company. Force Machinery Co., distributor of Mayer panel saws, offers a new controller that will link almost any PC, with an ASCII ASCII or American Standard Code for Information Interchange, a set of codes used to represent letters, numbers, a few symbols, and control characters. Originally designed for teletype operations, it has found wide application in computers.  format, to the panel saws. The Martin T-72 table saw from Eric Riebling Co. Inc. is equipped with a scoring saw attachment, hydraulic tilting and raising and lowering arbor. Some features include: digital display, standard 7.5-hp motor and adjustable guideways. The scoring saw is adjustable both vertically and horizontally from outside of the machine. 630

Pistorius Machine Co. Inc. panel saws have a repeat stop, which reduces adjustments for horizontal cutting of strips that are the same width, and a programming rail to set fixed dimensions for serial work. To avoid chipout, the number of revolutions is brought to approximately 5,800 rpm. 631
