The sale price for the property was $436,500. Construction is expected to begin this summer. The Mt. Hope neighborhood has one of the lowest percentages of land devoted to indoor or outdoor recreational space of any neighborhood in the Bronx. Less than half of its population are high school graduates and 35 percent have incomes below the poverty level.
