Sirona Offers New Range of Materials for Dental CAD/CAM Systems.


BENSHEIM, Germany -- Sirona Now Offers its Customers CAD/CAM CAD/CAM
 in full computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing.

Sirona Dental Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRO), one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-technology dental equipment, today announced it has developed its own range of millable ceramic blocks for the Sirona CAD/CAM systems CEREC CEREC Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics (dentistry)  and inLab. The feldspath ceramics for chairside restorations (CEREC) will be available to customers as CEREC blocks. The Company's inCoris product line for dental labs will be expanded to include aluminum and zirconium zirconium (zərkō`nēəm), metallic chemical element; symbol Zr; at. no. 40; at. wt. 91.22; m.p. about 1,852°C;; b.p. 4,377°C;; sp. gr. 6.5 at 20°C;; valence +2, +3, or +4.  oxide blocks. The new ceramics assortment, expected to be offered over the course of the year, will complement the current selection on offer from the Company's partners including VITA (VMEbus International Trade Association, Fountain Hills, AZ, www.vita.com) A trade association that supports the VMEbus and other open standards. Since April 2006, Sirona has been offering non-precious metal alloys for dental labs under the brand name inCoris NP (Non-Precious). A special laser procedure is used to create frameworks from this alloy, which dental labs can order via the infiniDent Internet portal for further processing.
