Sinister Soup. (Page Of Poetry).

Sinister Soup

Gurgling and bubbling over the bowl,
Gloopy and gloppy and eating spoons
   whole.
The soup was quite evil, out to eat
Me, my mother, and other human meat.

Quite obviously an accident from the pot,
Spices and seasoning were all for naught.
We decided there was only one way
   to beat it,
And that was to swallow our pride and ...
   eat it!
