Singular sensations: a costume salute to dance auditions & the ultimate tryout musical, A Chorus Line.With A Chorus Line heading back to Broadway (see "The Gypsy in Them," p. 32), Dance Magazine has created a special costume showcase to celebrate the concept of the audition as show. We asked the ensemble members of the new Chorus Line about how their costume affects their performance, then we went in search of the coolest costumes in every genre to set you apart from the crowd. We also found the latest spins on the classic "One" costume in honor of "One of the best, if not the best, finales in all of musical theater," as Chorus Line dancer James T. Lane proclaims.
