The PolyLab system and Rheomex single screw screw, simple machine consisting essentially of a solid cylinder, usually of metal, around which an inclined plane winds spirally, either clockwise or counterclockwise.  extruder technology is featured in this six-page brochure. The company offers a comprehensive program of measuring extruders which can be attached to the Rheocord base unit. These measuring sensors

determine the usage of the PolyLab system for an application. Every measuring extruder contains the necessary measuring, control and monitoring technology for the respective application. Rheomex controls the data administration, as well as the communication with the master unit, the Rheocord base unit, via the data highway. All measuring extruders are coded so that the master unit automatically senses which sensor A device that measures or detects a real-world condition, such as motion, heat or light and converts the condition into an analog or digital representation. An optical sensor detects the intensity or brightness of light, or the intensity of red, green and blue for color systems.  is connected. Thus, it automatically informs the base unit and the operator of the configuration. Rheomex accessories are also described in the brochure. (Haake, 53 W.
