. For the first time ever, the Hollywood Bowl The Hollywood Bowl is a modern amphitheatre at 2301 North Highland Avenue in Hollywood, California, USA, that is used primarily for music performances. The "bowl" in this context is the natural cavity in the earth into which the amphitheater is built, rather than the shape of the  hosts a "Sound of Music" singalong on June 30. Fans can watch the 1965 Academy Award-winning movie and sing at the top of their lungs with Julie Andrews and the rest of the cast. Subtitles will allow everyone to belt out songs like "Do Re Mi," "My Favorite Things," "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," "Edelweiss" and the title tune.
