Simpler microprocessor control for Boy Machines. (Injection Molding).

The new Procan MD microprocessor control system from Boy Machines Inc., Exton, Pa., is a simpler version of the previous Procan 2 system control that it now replaces. The new system makes optional all ancillary functions that were standard on the Procan 2, such as floppy disk or RS232 port. Procan MD is supplied on Boy's M series of presses. It is standard on its new 55- and 90-ton models and optional on 22- and 30-ton units. The system offers an intermediate level between Boy's Dipronic solid-state control for D series machines and its top-of-the-line Procan CT (color touchscreen) system for the A series. An optional version of Procan MD offers an on-screen on·screen or on-screen
