Simple tool speeds PET bottle changeovers.A new quick-mold-change device from SIG Corpoplast, Hillsborough, N.J., speeds changeovers of stretch-blown PET bottles. Instead of unbolting several screws, the SpeedLoc system uses a 10-in. lever lever, simple machine consisting of a bar supported at some stationary point along its length and used to overcome resistance at a second point by application of force at a third point.
