Simmons-Boardman acquires Davison Publishing.

Simmons-Boardman Publishing Corp. (New York) has acquired all the assets of Davison Publishing Co., Inc. (Orlando, FL), a publisher of seven annual industry directories for sales and marketing professionals. No terms of the deal were given.

Davison's seven directories serve the textile, fence, commercial, marine, tile and corrugated box industries and include "Textile Blue Book," "Fence Blue Book," "Tile & Stone Blue Book," "Marine Alaska West Coast Yellow Pages," "Marine Atlantic Yellow Pages," "Marine Gulf States Yellow Pages" and "Box and Carton Blue Book." Each directory includes company profiles presented alphabetically, geographically and by the product or service offered with listings including contact information addresses, web sites, e-mail and services provided, among other data.

Simmons-Boardman publishes six monthly trade magazines, including "Railway Age," "Railway Track & Structures," "International Railway Journal," "Marine Log," "ABA Banking Journal" and "Sign Builder Illustrated," as well as "ABA Bank Director's Briefing," a monthly newsletter.
