Silverstein, developer of the Freedom Tower, and architect Daniel Libeskind Daniel Libeskind, (born May 12, 1946 in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish-born Jewish American architect, who has designed many prominent and celebrated buildings, including the Jewish Museum in Berlin, Germany, the Denver Art Museum in the United States, the Imperial War Museum have settled their differences over fees owed to Studio Daniel Libeskind for the firm's work last year on the Freedom Tower. Mr. Silverstein said, "I am pleased that the mediation has produced a resolution to this dispute, and that both of us again can focus completely on the redevelopment of the World Trade Center."
