SilverBack Appoints VP of Global Sales and VP of Product Marketing; Peter Klanian & Jonathan Wolf Named to Join Executive Team.

Klanian as Vice President of Global Sales, and Jonathan Wolf as Vice President of Product Marketing and Management. Former SilverBack VP of Sales James Hare was promoted to VP of Business Development.

Prior to joining SilverBack Technologies, VP of Global Sales Peter Klanian spent 12 years at American Power Conversion (Nasdaq: APCC), an S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 and Fortune 1000 company. While with APC, he fulfilled a number of sales and marketing leadership positions including District Sales Manager of New York/New Jersey, Asia-Pacific Director of Strategic Marketing, Worldwide Director of Strategic Marketing and North American Director of Channels and Mid-market. Klanian is a 1989 graduate of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. He was selected by VARBusiness magazine as a "Top 100 Channel Executive" in 2006, and as a "Channel Chief" by CRN in 2005 and 2006.

Silverback VP of Product Marketing Jonathan Wolf was previously VP of Product Marketing at Intelliden, a leading developer of network configuration management solutions for enterprise, government, and carrier organizations. Prior to that he was a founder of Gold Wire Technology, a company that was acquired by Intelliden in 2004. Jonathan served there as CEO for the first five years and later as VP Product Operations. Prior to that, Jonathan managed the largest indirect sales channel for BEA Systems. Before that, he held product management, engineering management, and engineering positions with companies such as Prolifics and Cambridge Technology Group. Jonathan earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from MIT, Cambridge, MA.
