Southern festival abounding with independent films and workshops led by
renowned filmmakers.
As part of the third annual Oxford Film Festival, set for September
6-11, filmmakers will compete in seven categories: Feature, Short,
Documentary, Animation, Experimental, Youth, and Music Video. Winners
will take home unique "Spirit of Hoka" statuettes, designed by
celebrated sculptor and Ole Miss art professor Bill Beckwith. Panel
discussions and workshops will be offered on film soundtracks, producing
and financing, screenwriting, and more.
