Silver Spring Networks Appoints New Vice President of Sales.

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- Silver Spring Networks, innovators of open, standards-based utility networking technology, announced today that industry leader, Lendon Ellis, has joined the company as Vice President of Sales. Lendon will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process and will report to Scott Lang, President and CEO. In a related announcement, Silver Spring Networks welcomed three additional sales executives, Vance Hall, Peggy Anne Page and Carlos Zerpa.

This new sales team has more than 100 years of combined experience in the utility market space. Lendon brings over 25 years of industry, sales and marketing experience to Silver Spring Networks. Prior to joining Silver Spring Networks, Lendon was Vice President of Sales for SmartSynch. Previously, he was the Eastern U.S. Regional Manager for Hexagram, a leading company in fixed networks for electric, gas and water. Lendon was also President for CLE Enterprises, LLC, which provides consulting services to the utility industry, and served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for LineSoft Corporation. Lendon has also held a variety of senior sales and sales management roles with Itron, HESCO and Landis & Gyr.

Vance Hall has over 40 years of achievement in the utility industry and has been instrumental in the development and introduction of advanced technologies to the global demands of the utility industry. Prior to joining Silver Spring Networks, Vance was a partner in OHMbre Solutions, integrators in the energy data services sector for electric, gas and water utilities. Prior to OHMbre, Vance was Assistant Vice President of Business Development for Hunt Power. Previously, Vance worked for Utility Translation Systems, now a part of Itron. Vance worked over 28 years in load research, special billing, forecasting and system planning at Texas Utilities (now TXU) and Iowa Electric Light and Power (now part of the Alliant Utilities) prior to joining Utility Translation Systems.

Peggy Anne Page and Carlos Zerpa, P.E., represent over 50 years of utility experience and have extensive technical backgrounds as well. Carlos has held many technical and sales positions with NUI Energy and Florida Power and Light. Previously, Peggy was the president A/S Precision Solutions, Inc, and DataCom Information Systems, LLC and held various positions with Duquesne Light Company.
