Scout's email alerts can be used to establish proactive service programs. Alerts notify support teams when scanners are "sick" and are in need of service. This proactive approach will enhance the quality of data collected, add to the life of the hardware and minimize costly down time.

Scout will help eliminate data quality and efficiency problems due to operator error. Scout's reports can be used to identify end-users who need additional training or additional encouragement to follow the scanner's operator maintenance schedule.
