Silicon Wave One of Four Associate Members of the Bluetooth

Special Interest Group (SIG) Represented on BARB

Silicon Wave Inc., a leading designer and provider of RF communication system components, Monday announced that their senior director of advanced products, Terry Bourk, has been selected to serve a second term on the Bluetooth(TM) Architecture Review Board (BARB).

Silicon Wave is one of four associate members of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) is the body that oversees the development of Bluetooth standards and the licensing of the Bluetooth technologies and trademarks to manufacturers.  (SIG) represented on the BARB. As a member of the BARB, Dr. Bourk will provide input that will assist in setting the future direction of the technical aspects of Bluetooth, including how Bluetooth specifications are created and implemented.
