Silicom Wins a Token-Ring Project in Italy.

: SILCF) announced today that an Italian based leading manufacturer of data collection systems has determined to integrate one of the company's Token-Ring products within its systems.

The Italian company, founded in 1948, has a worldwide reputation for data collection products, industrial clocks and information display systems. Its data collection products are widely used for access and attendance control. The incorporation of the Silicom Token-Ring technology within the data collection systems allows easy and simple integration of the data collection systems into the customer Token-Ring local area network. This integration facilitates faster and more efficient access to the data collected by the data collection systems spread all over the customer facilities.

Silicom is cooperating with the Italian manufacturer to co-develop a special packet driver for the USNET Real-Time TCP/IP TCP/IP
