Past President Barry R. Silbaugh MD, MS, FACPE FACPE Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives , is currently serving as interim executive vice president of the College. Silbaugh replaces ACPE founder and original EVP EVP Executive Vice President EVP EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Valve Position Sensor EVP Electronic Voice Phenomenon EVP Europäische Volkspartei (Germany) EVP Employee Value Proposition Roger Schenke, who retired July 1st. Silbaugh will stay in the position until a new permanent EVP is selected. A nationwide search for ACPE's next EVP is currently under way. He's been the medical director of a Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan, a vice president of medical operations for a large national Catholic health system, and the chief medical officer for an Internet start-up company based in Los Angeles. Over the past three years, he has visited China, Tibet, Poland, and Rwanda representing the College. |
