Siix opens four new facilities.


Siix Corp. (Osaka, Japan), an electronics manufacturing services Electronic manufacturing services (EMS) is term used for companies that design, test, manufacture, distribute and provide return/repair services for electronic component and assemblies for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).  (EMS) provider to the consumer and industrial electronics and auto industries, has announced the opening of three new plants in Asia and one in Europe, These new plants n Thailand, Dongguan, Shanghai and the Slovak Republic will assemble printed circuit boards and produce finished consumer and industrial goods industrial goods nplbienes mpl de producción .

The Thailand plant has been awarded an 150-9002 standard and will operate 14 surface-mount lines in over 100,000 sq. ft. of floor space. The lines will assemble high-density mounted circuit boards for small camera lens modules, temperature compensated crystal oscillators An oscillator that uses a quartz crystal to generate a frequency. Such devices generally output a fixed frequency, but some can be controlled by a tuning voltage over a small range. Contrast with VCO. , RF modules, computer peripherals and car audio products.

The plant in the Slovak Republic has also obtained ISO- iso- or is-
pref.

9002 and QS-9000 standards and will De operated by Sluzba Siix Electronics s.r.o., a joint venture between Siix and Sluzba. The 53,000-sq. ft. facility will assemble controller circuit boards for automobile fuse boxes, speedometers and backlights, as well fax machines. The companies plan to open another facility with over 100,000 sq. ft. of floor space this year.

In China, Siix Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov.  Electronics Factory will operate a plant that will assemble circuit boards for microwave controllers, cameras, card readers and monitors for Japanese electronics makers. The plant in Shanghai will assemble circuit boards for DVD DVD: see digital versatile disc.
