The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the name by which it is known, (or, as named on the building itself, the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts but, locally called the The Kennedy Center  in Washington, D. C., will hold its annual free children's Multicultural Book Festival on Saturday, November 5, from 12 to 5 P.M.
