Sigaba Announces Successful Completion of Trident Warrior '05 Naval Exercise; Secure Information Sharing Software and Services Used in FORCEnet Test Initiative.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sigaba provided secure messaging software and services at-sea during the execution of the Trident Warrior '05 operational environment testing.

The Sigaba secure email technology, deployed on all participating vessels, is being evaluated for potential use as a tactical messaging solution in the Allied-Coalition environment. The base system requirements include authentication, non-repudiation, and confidentiality. Trident Warrior '05 in-port trials ran from November 28-December 2, 2005, with at-sea trials taking place December 5-9, 2005. Among the U.S. ships participating in the exercise were the USS Cole (DDG 67), an Arleigh Burke Destroyer, the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), an Amphibious Assault Ship, and the USS Philippine Sea (CG58), a Ticonderoga Cruiser. Canada's HMCS Montreal sailed with U.S. ships off the coast of Virginia. Additionally, various ships representing Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom participated in the exercise.
