Commenting on his appointment, Mr Guy Sebban, ICC Secretary General, said, "We are delighted to appoint David as the Vice Chair of ICC's Internet and Telecoms Infrastructure and Services Task Force. This is a very active Task Force given the rapid rate of growth of Internet and Telecoms services and infrastructures, and we believe his substantive and guiding contributions will be very beneficial to the efforts of the Task Force while assisting Gordon Moir of British Telecom The telephone and communications carrier that provides services in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The purpose of the Task Force on Internet and Telecoms Infrastructure and Services of the EBITT Commission is to articulate the business point of view on international, regional and national policy initiatives related to the Internet and Telecoms sector.
