:SW.) announced today an agreement with HyComm Technology Company Limited, a wireless network provider in China, to deliver wireless data products to the emerging mobile workforce.

The agreement calls for Sierra Wireless to supply a complete range of wireless data products including its award-winning AirCard 300. In addition, Sierra Wireless will provide extensive training on wireless technologies to HyComm Technology and their value added resellers. Sierra Wireless will also work closely with HyComm Technology to deploy wireless data solutions throughout Greater China, including Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov. .

The agreement will allow HyComm Technology customers to use Sierra Wireless' AirCard 300 on its Cellular Digital Packet Data (communications, protocol) Cellular Digital Packet Data - (CDPD) A wireless standard providing two-way, 19.2 kbps packet data transmission over exisiting cellular telephone channels.  (CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data) A low-speed, digital, wireless data network that is an enhancement to an existing analog cellular network. Based on IBM's CelluPlan II, CDPD provides a packet overlay onto the AMPS network and moves data at 19. ) network.
